Sometimes the mind races faster than the heart can follow.

A touchstone pulls you out of the storm and into something you can hold.

By giving your hands an anchor, you give your thoughts a place to rest.


Purpose: Pull awareness out of racing thoughts and back into the body.

Use: For Anxiety spikes or emotional flooding.


Steps:

  1. Find a small object nearby—a stone, a cup, a key.

  2. Hold it in your hand. Notice the texture, temperature, and weight.

  3. Say (silently or aloud): “I am here. This is now. I am safe in this moment.”

  4. Stay with the object for at least 30 seconds, breathing naturally.
