Purpose:

To bring yourself back from mental or emotional strain into a state of calm presence.

Use:

After an intense conversation, a stressful moment, or whenever you feel far from your center.


Steps:

  1. Close your eyes and take a deep breath in.

  2. Feel the air filling your lungs, your chest expanding like the opening of a flower.

  3. Exhale slowly, and imagine a soft light arounds you, wrapping you in safety.

  4. Continue with focused breathing visualizing the soft blanket of light cradling you. Do this

    as many times as your body needs. Give your body this comfort.

  5. With each breath, let that light grow warmer, gentler, until it feels like a quiet embrace.

  6. Say silently: “I am here. I am whole. I am held.”

  7. When you’re ready, open your eyes—carrying that light with you into the next moment.
